Chris Squire was one of the founding members of the band YES. I am really shocked to hear the news about his death. 😯 This was really unexpected. Just last week, I was just watching an interview about his gear on YouTube. 😦

Chris Squire

Chris was a unique bass player and vocalist. He shared vocal harmonies with Jon Anderson and had great chemistry singing. He will be missed. 😦

I can’t believe all my favorite musicians and heroes are passing away so soon. 😥 I guess we as fans expect them to live forever.

YES is one of those progressive bands that influenced me greatly. Steve Howe is one of my many heroes in the guitar.

One of my favorite Squire’s songs is Heart Of The Sunrise

Also from his solo album Hold out Your Hand/You by My Side

R.I.P. 😦

  1. Yes, many of them are leaving. We lost Lou Reed and B.B. King recently and that was what stressed me the most. I never listened YES that much but they belong to a part of my interest in music from when I was young.
