Toxic Politics

I know it’s silly to say that the entire USA political system is corrupt, because we could say the same thing about politics everywhere in the world. :/ But this US election cycle might be one for the history books. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I just can not believe that we are close to make Donald Trump the nominee for the general elections to be the next president of the USA. o_O

People like Donald Trump or Ted Cruz, have been dividing this country and spreading hatred and racism throughout their campaigns. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ As a result some people have been polarize and divided, with some having crimes and assaults committed against the poor, minorities and immigrants. ๐Ÿ˜ก

We also have the establishment candidates likeย Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton. These candidates just want to maintain the status quo. They’ll say anything to get elected but in the end they wont make any changes, only to continue the money flow to the 1% and buy future politics. ๐Ÿ™„

Sanders for President 2016

Then there is Bernie Sanders; he actually makes people like me stop and take a good look at politics. โ—

His plans of change government, regulate Wall-Street, break the big banks, end of citizen united, health care for all as a right, are not really big news on other parts of the world. But here in the US sounds like radical and extreme plans. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

He is not only fighting against the Republicans, he is fighting the DNC Democrats and the Establishment. Also the main stream media like CNN, MSNBC, FOX, The New York Times, The Daily Beast, and other big corporate networks. Because they know if Sanders wins, their money free ride will be over. :/

But all the odds right now are against him unless people can truly see how they have been had by the establishment. ๐Ÿ˜

So far there are a good number of people that understand this and are fighting against these powers. But even, if he loses the primary elections, his mark will make a change on the future of this country and on elections to come. Probably Sanders will inspire a grassroots movement with the likes of Elizabeth Warren and fight the corruption and money that had taken the political process of this country hostage. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I just worry about what a president Trump or even Clinton will do to this country future. o_O

  1. It would be a wonderful thing for the whole World if Bernie Sanders became American President. If he doesn’t get the nomination in the US, then the UK is crying out for someone like him.

Our politics is bereft of leadership which is why David Cameron, once allegedly described by Arnold Schwarzenegger as a lightweight in an overheard comment, is enjoying his second term as Prime Minister. He’s there as the left, the centre and the right are devoid of ideals.

Over here, since Gordon Brown, the Labour Party has only had the solution of paying more and more benefits rather than address the causes of the problems in society. This leaves fat cats to get even fatter as their profits are subsidised by the taxes – in the form of benefits – that their underpaid employees have already paid. We don’t want more benefits; we need fairer prices, better public services and fairer wages in the first place.

    • They don’t care about what the people have to say once they get elected. Paying more benefits is there way of saying they are doing something about it. :/

It is also amazing that many haven’t realize that the political system it’s run by crooks and greedy people, with the only goal to please the corporations and sponsors. They are the ones that really keep them re-elected. ๐Ÿ™„

This is why I think Sanders has almost no chance in fighting the establishment alone. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  2. It is not a secret that I don’t like politicians – on my opinion, they are all liars, more or less. Therefore, elections are just a system to try to choose one of the already bad choices.
However, election campaign in USA this year brought to surface bottom of the bottoms of politics mud. Except for Mr. Sanders, all other candidates doesn’t deserve a single line in the news.
Voting for Mr. Sanders would be a vote for a common sense; but common sense rarely wins the elections. It’s the majority who believes in lies and fairy tales.

Sorry for being so bitter, it might be all the rain we got in last month or so. Or, it is just me ๐Ÿ˜€

    • It’s not just you! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I agree with everything you said. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I never cared for politics before. But since Bush got elected in 2000 and seeing what kind of president he turn out to be. By stealing the elections from Gore, 911, going to the wrong war, his policies, his IQ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ,etc. I started paying attention who we elect for president.

I thought Bush was the lowest we could get. :/ I guess I was wrong. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I also learned my lesson by voting for Obama. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

      • For many people around the world and as for some Americans, Obama was probably the biggest disappointment in last 50 years or so. I must admit, even I was fooled at the beginning, thinking that finally there is a person who might be a change in this world. But no. He was no better than his predecessors.

        • Obama fooled us all with his progressive plans of hope and change, only to move to the right once he got elected. I think the mistake was that we really wanted to believe what he was proposing, without acknowledging that he didn’t have a long record or background. Some people also said that he got bought as soon as he got elected. :/

Plus many just went for the color of his skin as only reason to vote for him. Just as Hillary is doing now with her gender base campaign. Once sheโ€™s elected sheโ€™ll move to the right just as Obama did. ๐Ÿ™„

  3. I don’t follow USA politics or in general. But Mr Sanders sounds like the one with his feet on this planet. Though electing Mr Trump will probably bring WWIII. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • I think if Trump gets elected many people will protest and it might get violent. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ There are plenty Republicans that will vote against him also. ๐Ÿ˜ Trump and Hillary are not what we need in this country. o_O

If Sanders wins the nomination, I know he’ll get elected for president by a landslide in a Trump vs Sanders. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

    • A revolution might be in the cards if Sanders loses or Trump wins. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I just hope the movement continues if Sanders loses the primaries. ๐Ÿ˜ There has to be a way to fight back the corruption and inequality. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

        • That’s just the media’s way of confusing voters. ๐Ÿ™„

They have been adding the Superdelegates to Hillary since she started running. The media/establishment crowned Hillary before the primaries started. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Sanders has an uphill battle to win after the last Super Tuesday. ๐Ÿ˜ But don’t count him out yet. The revolution might just go into second gear if he loses. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ
