First was Texas, then Florida and now Puerto Rico. ๐ฏ This hurricane season has been unprecedented so far. ๐ฎ
Puerto Rico now still suffering the aftermath and devastation of hurricane Maria. ๐
I’m speechless about how bad this hurricane really it’s been for PR. ๐ถ They are saying that power might take as long as six months to be back in service. Communications also are down, making it almost impossible to reach families and friends on the island. ๐ฎ
There is a broken dam in lake Guajataca in the town of Isabela that had brought a catastrophic flood. ๐ซ
Donations and help for victims are found all over the Internet from different organizations.
- Unidos Por Puerto Rico
- UNICEF
- Save the Children
- AmeriCares
- Puerto Rico Rises
- ConPRmetidos
- Puerto Rico Real-Time Recovery Fund
- Los Ambulantes
It is going to take many years for Puerto Rico to recuperate from this tragedy. ๐ฅ
Not to mention they were already having a bad economic crisis. ๐ฆ

Thank you for the links to the organizations helping out.

This might be the end of Puerto Rico as we know it. ๐ฆ I don’t see any real resolution coming from the current flammable political state in congress. ๐ก

Thank you for sending donations.
The real problem with Puerto Rico is far beyond the hurricane. The US have been oppressing PR since they became part of the union in 1898. ๐ฅ

๐ I fail to see the credibility of your post with links like that.
There isn’t enough people available to drive trucks. Many drivers are still stuck in their houses taking care of their families, Also, some of the trucks were destroyed by the hurricane. Plus most roads are cover by trees and debris and are not drivable.

The situation in PR is getting bad. There is a major exodus happening right now, and many Puerto Ricans are angry at those that are living the island.

Unfortunately, the economy in Puerto Rico is not going to get better due to the corrupted two party political system we are experiencing in Washington. ๐ฆ
It doesn’t help that hurricane Maria happened in one of the years the United States has another incompetent president. ๐ก

Unfortunately, the world forgets too quickly.
In spite of the current visit to the region by Prince Charles, it is like this is ancient news.
