DC Comics might not be releasing movies at the speed of Marvel but they sure have been putting lots of DTV releases. 😎
I order Son of Batman because I read the Batman & Son comic-book story arc. But Son of Batman was nothing like the comic-book. It felt rushed and too much action with less dialog. 😦 Plus It didn’t have Kevin Conroy. 😥
In the end, I prefer the comic-book story over the animated film, but I always had a problem with the Ra’s al Ghul dying in this story.
After a long wait they are finally releasing the 1966 Batman TV Series on DVD/Blu-ray! 😎
Thanks to Conan O’Brien for announcing the great news! ❗
Very excited @WBHomeEnt is releasing the Batman ’66 Complete TV Series in 2014! The seat smells like Adam West: http://t.co/cqWjlpW1Gn

I’m really hoping the box set gets lots of special features and commentaries. I have waited for this box set since the VHS days. 😛
Although the darker Batman, and Batman: The Animated Series are my favorite versions, the ’66 Batman TV Series was my introduction to Batman, and it hold a special place for me for been the first.
Also, I’ve been checking out the Batman ’66 comics, which they actually captures what the essence of the series was all about.
It is great to see that it starting to have great reviews around the web. 😀
I just got The Six-Million Dollar Man: The Complete Series DVD Collection from Time-Life. 😎
This is awesome, and makes me really nostalgic. This is the very first TV series I remember growing up. I also remember playing with the Colonel Steve Austin action figure that my parents gave me for Christmas. 😎
The down side of this DVD collection is the whopping $240.00 dollars (plus shipping) price tag. 😯 But I couldn’t resist and took the plunge for geek and nostalgic reasons, making the so call five easy payments. Plus… I rationalize it by thinking I need to build more credit. 😛 😉
Here is a good review of The Six-Million Dollar Man DVD set.
